Start with the boring work

Good automation targets tasks that are repetitive, rule-based and annoying. You do not need to be a developer; no-code tools can connect most services.

1. Save form answers to a spreadsheet

Every new form response becomes a new row automatically.

2. Send a confirmation message

When a customer orders or registers, they get a message without you lifting a finger.

3. Collect email attachments

Invoices or documents arriving by email are saved to the right folder.

4. Weekly report

Gather numbers from a few tools and send yourself a summary every Monday.

5. Reminders for follow-ups

When a lead has not replied in three days, get a nudge.

How to begin

  1. Write the steps of the task on paper.
  2. Pick one trigger, for example "new form response".
  3. Build the smallest version, test it, then improve it.

Tools like n8n let you connect services visually, and adding an AI step lets you handle messy text too.
